I was so excited to receive the original Frank Body Scrub for my birthday in October, after hearing so much positive praise for it.
Frank Body Scrub is an Australian made body scrub that comes in a paper bag, and has the consistency of coffee granules, due to the high content of Coffea Robusta Seed Powder it contains. Frank aims to target cellulite, stretch marks, psoriasis, varicose veins, eczema, acne and scarring with it's all natural ingredients. Apart from coffee, Frank contains sea salt and brown sugar to effectively exfoliate any lumps and bumps, almond oil to moisturise, and vitamin E to heal skin.
I use Frank in the shower, applying to wet skin. I need roughly around a handful of product to cover and scrub my entire body, including my face. I gently scrub my skin, as the product has sharp particles and you could potentially irritate or damage your skin if you are too rough. I focus on my problem areas, then leave the ingredients to sit on my skin for a few minutes to work their magic, while enjoying the amazing scent of coffee and orange. After rinsing the scrub from my skin, my skin feels so incredibly soft and hydrated. I recommend using the scrub on days that you are planning to clean the shower afterwards, as it can make a mess!
Although I have not noticed any visible reduction in cellulite, stretch marks and varicose veins on my legs/upper thighs, I have noticed a reduction in facial acne. Although Frank makes no claims to help with ingrown hairs, I have found it has almost completely eliminated the ingrown hairs I used to get from shaving.
As long as Frank continues to help my acne, prevent ingrown hairs, and give me super soft, hydrated skin, I will continue to use it. A definite purchase in the future!
