Review: Dermavive Hydra Cleanser

Dermavive is a brand that has been rockin' my socks lately, if you couldn't tell from my latest blog posts. I have been testing out their Hydra Cleanser for the past month or so and had to share my thoughts!

Dermavive is an incredible Aussie brand that I can't stop shouting about for their affordability and formulations that are simple but effective, and non irritating. Their products all contain colloidal oatmeal; an ingredient known for its incredible skin soothing and calming benefits.

Dermavive Hydra Cleanser has been a welcome addition to my skincare routine and I am loving the results I am experiencing from it. I find that the type of cleanser I use really makes a difference in how my skin acts, which is really no surprise.
Cleansing is undoubtedly one of, if not the most, important skincare step. In fact, the wrong cleanser can have a detrimental effect on your skin, by causing barrier dysfunction, breakouts and dryness. The right cleanser should remove daily dirt, makeup and grime from your skin, without stripping your skin of its moisture and drying it out, or leaving excessive residue.

Hydra Cleanser is the ideal cleanser for all skin types. It is a soap free, pH balanced formula that ensures it is suitable for even the most sensitive skin (like mine!), and will not disrupt the delicate acid mantle of the skin. It has anti-bacterial properties and helps unclog pores and clear impurities from the skin, making it perfect for those that suffer from breakouts. And, unlike most cleansers designed for acne, it does not dry your skin out!

Dermavive Hydra Cleanser contains Colloidal Oatmeal to protect the stripping of essential oils and hydrate skin. It also contains Sodium PCA and emollients, which add moisturising properties to soften and soothe the skin. It is free from SLS, Soap, Fragrance, Parabens and Lanolin.

I am a big fan of super gentle cleansers to treat my skin. I find that the Hydra Cleanser is a perfect match for my skin as it is ultra calming and non-drying, but still seems to tackle my acne! It is rare to find something that is gentle enough for my dermatitis skin, that still is effective at removing my light makeup and grime. I apply this cleanser morning and night to a wet face, massage in, the remove with water. The slightly bubbly formula is fragrance free, which I appreciate as I have fragrance sensitivities.

If you have sensitive skin, or are looking for a gentle cleanser (which you should be!), I can't recommend Dermavive Hydra Cleanser more! It is super affordable, and effective.

You can purchase Dermavive Hydra Cleanser from their website or from Amazon!
