August Beauty Favourites

I am terrible at doing monthly favourite blog posts, but I finally got my act together (well for this month at least), and I present to you: the products I have been loving all of August (and some for longer!) Enjoy!

Body Blendz Coffee and White Clay Exfoliating Capsules
These single use pods are super fun and contain the perfect amount for both you and a bestie, or do as I do and apply to your face in the shower, using the excess on your body. This two in one scrub and mask product contains White Australian Clay, Betaine, Shea Butter, Pumice, Coffee Butter and Jojoba Oil to naturally and gently cleanse and exfoliate your skin without removing the lipid layer on your face. It leaves my skin hydrated and super smooth, and it smells super delish!

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Yogurt
The Body Shop can do no wrong when it comes to moisturisers and body washes. This recent launch has become a love of mine this winter. I am not a fan of heavy creams anymore, and I love how this body moisturiser comes in a lightweight gel formula while still providing superb moisturisation. And even better, it comes in quite a few of their signature scents, including my fave Strawberry one!

Lipsticks
I have been all about a moisturising pout lately. Call me wrong, but I think that there is nothing more sexy than a glossy or juicy pout, especially after the recent trend of matte liquid lips. I have been particularly enjoying Antipodes Natural Lipsticks in Queenstown Hot Chocolate, and Boom Rock Bronze. These babies are packed with plant oils to leave your lips feeling nourished, while delivering a generous pop of colour. I have also been loving Youngblood's Sheer Color Crays Lip Crayons. These are super handy to pop in your handbag for when you need a beautiful and easy to wear everyday shade.

Youngblood Illuminator with Diamond Powder
Anything highlighter related, and I am hooked. Especially liquid and cream formulas. Highlight is the one product that can really help give your skin a beautiful, healthy, glossy look. One highlighter I have been loving lately is this highlighter from Youngblood which gives skin such a dewy, moist, shiny glow that I am obsessed with. Plus, it's packed with natural, nourishing ingredients.

Milk & Co Body Oil
For some reason, I took a break from using body oils, but recently I reignited my love for them and can't get enough of them! This beauty from Milk and Co is packed with goodies like papaya extract, lavender oil and soy oil and leaves my skin feeling nourished and pampered, while the lavender scent leaves me feeling relaxed. Plus, how aesthetic is that bottle? Obsessed.

Simple Skincare Water Boost Range
I don't know about you, but this winter has seemed the longest I have experienced yet. And it's been brutal here in Tasmania. And my skin has taken a beating, from the central heating to the icy winds, to the hot showers, and craving anything remotely hydrating. Simple's new Water Boost Range is such a great option for those looking for an affordable skincare range, with products ranging from $7.50-$13! I can't get enough.

Antipodes Brightening Skincare
On the topic of skincare, these two products from Antipodes get a big thumbs up from me. If you have dehydrated skin, you probably also suffer from dull, lifeless looking skin (and maybe even pigmentation like this gal here?!). I always try to supplement some kind of brightening product into my routine, and these products are my current loves. The Juliet Cleanser is gentle but effective, removing light makeup, while the Apostle Serum is a water based serum that absorbs quickly into the skin, and has already brightened the appearance of my skin. It's still early days, and I can't wait to see further results from these two. I also really need to try out more from the Antipodes skincare range.

Mirenesse Heated Lash Curler
If you are a fan of lash curlers, you NEED to try a heated one. This easy to use heated curler gives the benefits of a traditional one, but with longer lasting results. Paired with their mascara, prepare yourself for sky high lashes!

And those are my current faves! Let me know what products you are loving x
