Review: Ulta3 Makeup x Elyse Knowles

Ulta3 is a brand that I have wanted to try for a long time, but hadn't, until recently when I was sent a whole bunch of goodies. I was blown away with the quality of their products, especially considering the price, so I had to share my thoughts with you all!
I was sent a few products from the collaboration they did with Elyse Knowles; a well known Australian model. The collection has a very luxe feel; from the rose gold packaging, to the quality of the products in the collection.

This bronzer contains a combination of matte and shimmer pigments to deliver a glowy bronzer that will warm up your complexion perfectly. I personally prefer bronzers with a shimmer/sheen to them, as opposed to matte ones, as I fully embrace any opportunity to add more glow to my skin! This bronzer is perfect for my pale skin, and is honestly everything I could ask for in a bronzer!

With a mix of shimmer and matte finishes, this palette is so gorgeous and versatile. I love the different mix of colours, but even though it is marketed as an eye and cheek palette, I only use it as an eye palette as the individual shades are so small, and it is hard to fit a face brush into just one colour. The powders are soft and aren't the most pigmented I have tried, but they do blend easily and give a soft wash of colour that is appropriate for day wear (which is the look I generally prefer).

This six piece set contains five vegan and cruelty free brushes and a handy brush roll for storing them. I am blown away by the quality of these brushes. They are super soft and blend product so well into my skin. The two face brushes are my favourite, as they are the style of brushes I generally gravitate towards in my daily life. I also love the blue handles  and rose gold ferules as I think that they make the brushes look super unique and pretty.  I would highly, highly recommend picking up this set. In fact, I am trying to resist the temptation to pick up another set!

I was also set two other products from Ulta3's face range. I have been using these on a daily basis and am obsessed!

It is no secret that I love a good glow, so anything that has 'illuminating' in its title has my ears perked up. This primer contains no large glitter particles, and absorbs into the skin easily, leaving a gorgeous lit from within glow and my skin super silky. It also preps my skin so well and prevents my foundation from emphasizing any dry patches (of which I have a few, due to acne treatments drying out my skin, and my skin generally being a super dry pain all the time anyway). Love this, especially for how affordable it is!

This kit contains a mixture of powder and cream products to cover all of your blush, contour and highlighting needs. I feel like this kit is more suited to those with light/medium tones, and it is a perfect palette for my pale skin as I can utilize every shade. I have been using the cream highlight on an everyday basis, when I want a dewy highlight, and adding a touch of the powder highlight on top if i want to intensify my glow. The two peach and coral blushes are super flattering on my skin, and are buildable! I have also been a big fan of using the cream contour alone for a natural look, or adding the powder contour on top to really define my cheekbones. I have no bad words to say about this palette.

Ulta3 is one of those newly discovered gems for me, and I am so glad to have had the opportunity to try some of their products out.

*Products sent for consideration, my honest thoughts as always.
