Rosehip Oil is one of my favourite skincare ingredients for its ability to nourish and renew skin. That's why I was super excited when I was approached by Rosehip PLUS about testing out some of their products. I have been trialling them out for the past few months, and have been loving them so much I think it's time to share my thoughts!
Rosehip PLUS is an Australian owned brand that prides themselves on sourcing the best quality Rosehip Oil possible, and utilising it in their own Rosehip oil product range.
The benefits of Rosehip Oil are numerous. Rosehip Oil is rich in essential fatty acids and high in antioxidants, vitamins and essential fatty acids Omega 3, 6 and 9. It is the natural way to achieve clear, hydrated, glowing, healthy skin.
Fatty Acids Omega 3, 6 and 9 help to support healthy-looking skin, assist in repairing the signs of skin damage and are crucial to maintaining hydration. Meanwhile, naturally occurring anti-oxidants, beta-carotene and lycopene help to reduce free radical damage in the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Another important compound found in Rosehip Oil is natural Vitamin A, also known as trans-retinoic acid. Scientific research shows that continuous topical application of Rosehip Oil can help to reduce the appearance of scar, wrinkles and sun damage, prevent premature ageing and restore skin elasticity. Trans-retinoic acid also helps to keep the skin soft and plump in appearance and help improve the skin’s water barrier property."

RosehipPLUS® Australian Certified Organic Rosehip Oil
I love pure Rosehip Oil, so I was excited to get my hands on this. I use rosehip oil for so many things, and it is definitely a skin essential for me. This Rosehip Oil is definitely one of the best Rosehip Oils I have ever tried, and I have tried a lot! Rosehip PLUS offer this oil in 30ml and 50ml glass dropper bottles, and also in a super handy roller ball container. I find the roller ball container perfect for travel or popping in your bag for use through the day, so you don't have to worry about it leaking or the bottle smashing.
I love adding a few drops of this in with my daily and nightly moisturiser, to add a little glow and extra hydration. I also love dabbing a drop around my eyes to hydrate and *hopefully* reduce the fine lines there. I also love using this as a lip oil, as a cuticle hydrator, and to add an extra bit of glow to my face (as a natural looking highlighter).
RosehipPLUS® Hydrating Day Cream + Nourishing Night Cream
I love a good moisturiser, and I have really been enjoying both these offerings from Rosehip Plus! They both contain the miracle ingredient Rosehip Oil, and the Hydrating Day Cream contains chamomile, avocado and rose geranium, while the Night Cream contains a blend of cocoa seed butter, jojoba seed oil and shea butter.
I have the driest skin known to man kind, and find both of these moisturisers lovely and hydrating but non-greasy. I find that I need to add a few drops of oil to the day cream to make it more hydrating for my skin, but I think it will definitely be enough for someone with normal to dry skin. I use the night cream each night (and some days haha), and love how hydrating and nourishing it is. It leaves my skin soft and smooth, and doesn't irritate or breakout my dry and sensitive skin. Both are total winners!
RosehipPLUS® Organic Daily Cream Cleanser
This cleanser is the best! It is soft and creamy, which is a delight on my dry skin, but doesn't clog my pores. It removes all of the daily grime and makeup from my skin with ease, and without stripping my skin. After use my skin feels clean and fresh, and hydrated but non-greasy. It has a neutral scent, and is packed with goodies like jojoba and sea buckthorn oil. I love this so much that I have taken to using this in the mornings as well, and I usually don't bother with a cleanser in the morning. The generous size of this cleanser means it lasts a long time, and is so inexpensive.
