Review: Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation has recently been reformulated with an improved formula that boosts radiance from within through its vitamin therapy formula, while also providing an instant anti-fatigue effect. I unfortunately have not tried the old formula, but I am really enjoying the new version. Keep reading on to read my thoughts on it!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation is a hydrating skincare formula enriched with vitamin C, vitamin B5 and vitamin E that boosts natural radiance and provides anti-oxidant and regenerating action. It claims to erase signs of fatigue such as dark circles, puffiness and redness, and last up to 16 hours!

To apply this foundation, I pump two pumps onto my hand and then apply dots all over my face. I blend it out with my beauty blender, and find it very quickly blends out to give my skin a natural finish. I find that with a beauty blender, this foundation gives medium coverage to the skin, and is buildable on areas that need more coverage (like acne on my chin!). I find that it doesn't totally cover my acne or dark circles, but I always apply concealer after anyway so that isn't a big deal.

I love the fresh, hydrating look this gives my dry skin. I don't find it overly dewy on my skin, instead it just makes my skin look like a brighter, healthier version of itself. It doesn't emphasise any dry patches, and I only noticed it slightly settling in some fine lines by the end of the day, which is better than most foundations I have tried. And I didn't even set it with powder! I have also heard from several people with oily skin that this foundation works well on their skin too, so it appears that this is a great all-rounder!

This foundation comes in a pump bottle, which is super convenient. The product itself has a sweet, fruity scent, which hasn't noticeably irritated my sensitive skin. The packaging has had a massive upgrade from the previous formulation, and definitely looks more luxe!

I wear the shade Light Vanilla, which is the lightest shade in the range, and find it a perfect match on my pale skin.

Overall, I am obsessed with this foundation and really want to pick up the concealer as well!
