I recently received a package from Australian cosmetics company Klara Cosmetics, and I couldn't be more excited! Klara is a brand that has been on my radar for quite a while due to their on trend product releases, including liquid lipsticks, highlighting palettes and blush trios. I wanted to share my thoughts on several of their products and basically help spread the word of this up and coming brand!
Eye Boost
This clever under eye concealing product comes in a twist pen with an inbuilt applicator. It is ultra creamy and hydrating under the eyes, and helps brighten the darkness under my eyes. It gives a buildable medium/full coverage, and is long wearing, not creasing or fading throughout the day. I have the shade 02, which is one of only two shades currently available (I do hope they expand the range to cater for those that don't have light/medium skin tones). It is a great light to medium yellow toned concealer that matches my light skin tone well. I do think that shade 01 would be a great shade for me when I want to highlight or add brightness to my face.
I use this concealer for concealing both my undereyes and my blemishes, and find it does a great job of both. I will definitely purchase another when I run out!
Socialite Glow Kit
If you are a regular of Wellness by Kels, you know by now that I am a highlighter fiend. Especially when they come in palettes! This palette contains one powder and three cream highlighters, and I love them all. This glow kit would be best suited for those with light/medium skin tones (I am pale and can wear all four shades). It comes in glorious rose gold packaging and features a large handy mirror inside. I typically use the cream highlighters as a base for a powder highlighter, or alone on days when I am looking for a more natural glow. The creams are soft and melt into the skin, giving it a gorgeous sheen and sparkle. The powder highlighter is the product I turn to when I want a glow visible from mars. It is ultra pigmented and metallic, and pairs amazingly with the cream highlighters.
I have been using this palette non stop and would totally recommend it if you like a serious glow!
Burning Man Eyeshadow Palette
When I received this palette, I looked at the shades and felt a tad intimidated as the bold shades are opposite to my usual neutral shades. However, I have come to really appreciate this palette as it has allowed me to expand my eyeshadow repertoire.
The quality of these eyeshadows is incredible; I have rarely if ever experienced eyeshadows as pigmented and soft as these ones. I have obviously got more use out of the easier to wear shades, such as the gold, orange, champagne and white colours, but I have enjoyed dipping into more unique shades such as the blues, silvers, greys and black pans, and incorporating them into my looks.
I find these shadows to blend into the eye so easily, and last all day on the lids without creasing.
I am obsessed with this palette and need to try the other palettes they have on offer because this quality is insane!
From top to bottom: Eye boost in 02, Blush palette x 3, Kiss Proof Lips 07, 08.
Is there anything prettier than a trio of gorgeous blushes?! This trio comes with two matte and one shimmer blush, all of which are quite peachy. All are so wearable on my skin tone, and are the kind of shades I usually reach for. My favourite shade is the middle one, as I find the shimmer so flattering on my skin. It also reminds me a tad of Nars Orgasm. All three blushes blend easily into the skin, and are so buildable and pretty. I have no bad things to say about these!
Kiss Proof Lips
These matte finish liquid lipsticks are long lasting, and available in 27 colours!
I received the shades 07 (sienna nude) and 08 (fuchsia pop). Both are pigmented and go onto the lips creamy, drying down to a matte non-transferring finish. They last on the lips all day without budging, crumbling, fading or bleeding. They feel ultra light on the lips, and may be my current fave liquid lips formula!
