Review & Swatches: Zoeva Blanc Fusion and Caramel Melange Eyeshadow Palettes

It's no secret I am a fan of Zoeva eyeshadow palettes, or even Zoeva in general. You can check out previous reviews I have done on the brand here, here, here, here, here, and here. I recently got my hands on two of the eyeshadow palette's from Zoeva's Plaisir Box (chocolate themed), and wanted to compare them against each other to help you decide which is a better fit for your collection. Keep reading for my thoughts!

The Blanc Fusion and Caramel Melange palettes come in Zoeva's signature ten pan, slim cardboard design, with a magnetic closure and no mirror inside. Both palettes are Italian made and the formulation of the eyeshadows is enriched with vitamin E and is 100% free of parabens, mineral oils, perfume and phthalates.

As with all Zoeva eyeshadows, the quality is incredible. All shadows in both palettes are really pigmented, soft and creamy, but with minimal, if any, fallout. Every shadow practically blends itself on the lids, and lasts all day without smudging, bunching, fading or creasing (even without primer). I know I can always rely on these shadows if I need my makeup to last all day.

Blanc Fusion

The irresistible ZOEVA Blanc Fusion Eyeshadow Palette unwraps a decadent repertoire of luxurious white chocolate hues, infused by milky Dulce de leche nuances and roasted almond shades, topped off with a shimmering tinge of golden honey. With their richly pigmented, velvety smooth formula, the matte and shimmering eyeshadows unfold gracefully on the finish, creating blissfully elegant makeup looks.

This palette contains 5 mattes and 5 metallic/shimmer shades. It is a neutral palette, and contains everything from light creamy beige through different tones of medium brown to a deep cool brown, and pops of shimmer. It is perfect for everyday makeup looks as it contains everything you need for a complete eye look, including highlighting shades, crease shades, and shades to deepen the crease and outer v. It also contains a pop of bright yellow in the shade 'Visions of Gold', which adds to this neutral palette and definitely makes it more unique.

Caramel Melange

Sweet and smooth, the ZOEVA Caramel Melange Eyeshadow Palette offers a selection of delicious shades Рfrom soft, tawny butterscotch hues to caramelized, golden cr̬me brul̩e nuances and warm toffee tones, spiced up by a sprinkle of bronzed cinnamon. Let the creamy smooth textures melt on your lids and relish in matte and shimmery caramel nuances for smoldering, rich makeup looks.

This palette contains 6 matte shades, and 4 metallic/shimmer shades. This is definitely a palette that fits the current trend of warm eyeshadow tones. It contains reddish browns and oranges, which look so pretty on the eyes and is on-trend! If you aren't a fan of warmer tones, you might be less inclined to reach for this palette, and it definitely won't work for you on an everyday basis. Me however, I love warm eye looks, and reach for this on the daily. My favourite shade is definitely liquid center; a rose gold/copper shade with a metallic finish.

Overall, both are beautiful palettes with amazing quality shadows, and you absolutely wouldn't be disappointed with either. I use both regularly and love them. However, if you are looking to only pick one up, consider if you are more of a fan of warm tones, or neutral tones. That will give you your answer ;)
