Review and Swatches: Garbo & Kelly Overnight Sensation Eyeshadow Palette

Garbo & Kelly are a brand that are relatively unknown in the beauty world, and are definitely one of those hidden gems that I can't seem to stop talking about. Every single product I have tried of theirs just totally blows me out of the water, and everyone else that has tried this brand seems to feel the same way. Today I am here to talk about their Overnight Sensation Eyeshadow Palette, and why it is a mainstay in my collection!

Garbo & Kelly's Overnight Sensation Eyeshadow Palette comes in gorgeous black packaging with silver dot detailing, and gold writing. Inside the palette is 14 eyeshadow colours, made up of a mix of shimmery metallic and matte finishes. The palette actually comes with a good quality double-sided brush that I have been using with this palette and other eyeshadows, unlike the crappy applicators that usually come with eyeshadow (that are promptly thrown in the bin!). A cute little touch is how each eyeshadow shade name is galaxy themed!

As far as eyeshadow quality, I am definitely impressed. Every single shade is creamy, buttery and so pigmented. I love the selection of colours, there is a wearable mix of bronze/brown/champagne shades, with a few pops of colour thrown in! I honestly would wear each and every shade in this palette with no hesitation, which isn't something I can say about a lot of palettes.

On a day to day basis, I would typically apply Halo or Luna all over my lid to set my primer and create a smooth base, and then go in with Aries as my crease shade. I then choose a darker metallic shade to pop in my outer third, and a lighter shimmery shade on the rest of the lid.

I find the formula really easy to work with, and the shadows blend out quickly. I experience a bit of fallout, but nothing bad, and to me I don't mind as lots of my favourite palettes do this (ie: Modern Renaissance.)

I have worn these eyeshadows with and without eye primer, and have found them to last all day long on my lids, without fading, falling or transferring. It's so impressive!
